Phase 1 - Cultivation (January - December 2013)
Arrival/Introduction
The Duke Family will move to South Santa Fe by the beginning of 2013. We will begin building a core group through relationships with those in South Santa Fe. Through door to door surveys, friendships, block parties, home bible studies and other outreach/relational activities, we will develop friendships in the community that, with the movement of the Holy Spirit, will lead to individuals coming to know Christ as Savior and Lord.
Core Team
We will begin developing and training a core team consisting of both new Christians and existing believers that feel called to participate in the launching of this new church in early 2014. This core team will work to set forth the plans to launch and will work to carry out the launch.Phase 2 - Plant (January - April 2014)
One Phase/Two Parts
The Launch (Plant) Phase will consist of two parts; monthly preview services and the launch date. Preview services and the official launch service will be preceded by extensive publicity and promotion through attractive direct mail, door-‐to-‐door canvassing, website, social media, and word of mouth.
Preview Services
We will conduct three preview services (January, February and March) for the community with the purpose of both introducing the community to the church as well as preparing the church for the community.Bridge Events
We will strive to have a bridge event between each preview service (house parties, picnics, etc.) o keep the church in the forefront of the minds of those who attend the preview service.Official Launch
After the three preview services, the Core team will take what we have learned from the preview services and craft the first official worship service of the new church (grand opening!). The church will begin weekly services from that date.
Phase 3 - Grow and Reproduce (April 2014 +)
Throughout the Cultivation and Launching process, we will be preparing the systems for carrying out the purposes of the church and setting the discipleship process in place. As the church grows spiritually and numerically, we will be preparing as a church to identify where God would have us focus on planting a new church.
