A Vision of Community

We desire to be a church that does more than hold worship services, exist at a location or have Bible studies. We desire to be a church where life happens. When we look at Acts 2:42-47 we see a picture of this in the very first church.

“ And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to the prayers. Then fear came over everyone, and many wonders and signs were being performed through the apostles. Now all the believers were together and held all things in common. They sold their possessions and property and distributed the proceeds to all, as anyone had a need. Every day they devoted themselves to meeting together in the temple complex, and broke bread from house to house. They ate their food with a joyful and humble attitude, praising God and having favor with all the people. And every day the Lord added to them those who were being saved.” Acts 2:42-46(HCSB)

The early church didn’t merely meet together once a week, hear good teaching, sing good songs and go home. In the early church life happened. The reality of the Gospel of Christ was alive in them and they lived it out together. Church is not an event, it is community.

Our prayer is to be a faith community that resembles that in Acts 2. A place where God moves, truth is taught, members respond, burdens are shared, challenge is brought, faith is expressed, fun is had, people are saved, and God is glorified! A faith community that touches Santa Fe with the life-changing Gospel of Christ and leads those reached to do the same.

We exist to bring glory to God in everything we do. As a church, we emphasize giving God glory and
first priority in every area of our lives and church.

Discover

We provide opportunities to grow in understanding of God’s Word and how it applies in our everyday context.As a church, we challenge members to grow in faith by the power of the Holy Spirit through the application of God’s Word.

Touch

We emphasize living out faith in Jesus Christ through the context of authentic community using
how God has uniquely shaped each of us for ministry and fellowship.

Reach

We actively live out the Gospel of Christ in our community and world through meeting needs, engaging culture and sharing our faith
