Core Values

Core Values (DNA: what makes our church distinct)

Life Transformation

God loves us just the way we are, but He doesn’t intend for us to stay that way. Salvation through Jesus Christ is to be lived out through obedience to the Holy Spirit resulting in changed lives.  (Romans 10:9-10, Romans 12:1-2, James 1:22, Galatians 5:16-26)

Relationship/Community

God doesn’t intend for us to live life in a vacuum. We highly value the Christian life be lived out in  close proximity to our God and to each other. (Acts 2:42-47, Hebrews 10)

Creativity

We serve a creative God in a creative community and desire to provide avenues of creative expression of His Glory. (Gen. 1:31, Psalm 139:13-14, John 1)

Service

The church is to be actively touching it’s context with a message of hope as well as comfort and defense of the less-fortunate. We actively seek to be the hands and feet of Christ in our Community. (James 1:27, Matthew 25:31-40)

Reproduction

A true disciple of Christ strives to lead others to experience Christ in the same way. This is true of both individuals and churches. As a church we are committed to plant churches that plant churches for the glory of God. (Matthew 28, Acts 2)

Core Process

Connect

Connecting People to God and To His Church

As we engage our culture, our goal is to connect people with their Creator by providing
opportunity for them to hear the life-changing Gospel of Christ. Through friendships, events, preaching and worship, we strive to be a catalyst to someone discovering Christ and responding to His call to follow Him.

Through an intentional membership process, we lead individuals and families to commitment
themselves to spiritual formation, baptism and the mission of the church. Members will be connected
with a small group community to grow in the context Christian relationships.
